Channel V launches its first café cum bar in the capital,

New Delhi, May 25 IANS Music, style, food, knowledge and amusement - all this under one roof called V Spot coffee shop and Bar, which was launched here Wednesday. It targets teenagers and will give them a opportunity to flaunt their witty side in style. 'We have always been at the forefront of introduce only one of its kind format and discovering fresh avenues to engage the youth. This place will give youths a tangible interaction with the brand. Each component in the cafe gets its inspiration from an assortment of themes connected with Channel V,' said Prem Kamath, who heads Channel V. By opening the cafe-cum-bar at District Centre in Saket, Channel V extends from the televise and digital space to an on-ground understanding.

'The idea clicked after Channel V undertook extensive research on youths of India. We thought why not open a place like this where we will have a direct interaction with our objective audience,' Harshada Marne, senior executive at Star India Pvt Ltd, told IANS. 'The factors which will define the place is experiment, irreverence and wit. beginning ambience, interiors to music and themes, every minute detailing is in sync with the age group of 15-32,' The place is done in brighter shades like orange, yellow and pink with humorous quotations written on it. Bold interior has themes like quirky Ipad menu, video walls and touch computer screen gaming television. The table for two will cost Rs.600-Rs.800. Chef Manu Chandra, who previously worked with bottle green Bar and Kitchen, has been roped in. 'The food and concoction menu is a combination. We blend creativity with characteristic ingredients to create a truly spectacular menu which has attention-grabbing names like Bhutta Singh, Jhinga La La, Thai Kwon Do, Strip Tease, Son of a Peach, RumSay Brothers, Marg Mein Rita,' said Chandra.
